my first experiment with Opus 5.5 at generating motion graphics with the most deadbeat simple prompt copied from X: "make a dynamic 10-second motion graphics video that shows who are you as Opus 5.5 - be as creative and dynamic as possible. Avoid the frames and texts on the corners which are typical ai made giveaways!" this model is something else entirely. feels like alien technology tbh. a year back, AI couldn't even do 10% of these effects. now i think it's pretty must solved motion graphics. we are very much in the midst of a very sharp exponential curve right now. on one hand i hope this doesn't end until we've solved all of humanity's most important problems, like eliminating diseases, aging, fusion, et al. on the other hand, i shudder at the thought of what residual value humans are going to generate in the forthcoming age of true superintelligence. if the AI can do pretty much anything better than humans ever could, what are humans going to do, apart from the 0.001% that continue to improve that said superintelligence?
